Allegheny Cemetery Memorial Day Service 2014
I went to the Allegheny Cemetery Memorial Day services on May-26-2014.
I decided to record the ceremony, my camera was not fully charged so I stopped the recording for a few seconds at a time.
You are viewing 98% of the footage. Please pay special note after the services to notice the band is still playing and you will see a group of civil war reenactors. Allegheny Cemetery has over 19 hundred civil war soldiers buried on her grounds.
The cemetery has many famous people buried there. Visit the cemetery when in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
I like the bagpipes so even though there were many people coming by I had to record their music and show respect to them as well as the reenactors. I ran out of battery that is why I did not finish the music.
Please honor living veterans every day and visit the sites of vets that have now passed away. Let us also do more and give more to them and for them and their heroic deeds as well as for all they do to keep our freedom. We may not have a perfect nation however we would not even have any freedom without these brave men and women.
The time to act for justice, fairness, and what is right is now, and we must not ever retreat in these duties.
